Auction Instructions

The DU Online Auction features merchandise from past years' Event Merchandise package and donations from vendors. We do not auction merchandise from Ducks Unlimited members or supporters. If you are interested in selling personal Ducks Unlimited items, please visit the Classified Ads section of our website at www.ducks.org.

If you are interested in receiving a payment letter for tax purposes, please let us know. We mail requested letters for purchases made within the previous tax year. The portion of the contribution that may be deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount paid over the fair market value of the goods/services rendered.

All persons wishing to participate in the Ducks Unlimited Online Auction must complete an online information form. Upon completion of the online information form, each bidder will select a personal user ID and password to be used when bidding. Please note that this procedure needs only to be completed once. *Be sure to record your user id and password for future reference. Bidders must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the auction. Bids can be made at any time. All auction items have an electronic sheet attached. Bidders should complete this form making sure to include their bid, user ID and password. Each increase in bidding must meet or exceed the amount indicated as the minimum bid increment. Closing bids are determined by the bidding close date indicated on the right-hand side of the item list. Successful bidders will be contacted by email, so please be sure that you have a current email address on file.

Payments must be received within 2 weeks of bid closing and can be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, money order, or check. Payments involving credit cards can be made through the Secure Payment Link provided in your confirmation email or by phoning Jane Lawson at 901/758-3916. Money order and check payments must be made to DU Online Auction and have the bidding close date and email confirmation reference number written on the check. Auction Rules

A flat $10 shipping and handling charge per item will apply to all residents within the continental U.S. and Canada. We do not ship outside of the U.S. and Canada. *Canadian residents may also be asked to pay extra shipping charges in addition to the $10 for oversized items including all framed artwork. A customs and duty fee may also apply when the item arrives. This charge may be in excess of $50. It is the responsibility of the bidder to pay for these charges.

Please note the closing date to the right of the item. Payment for items must be received within 2 weeks of bid closing. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping of framed prints. All other items take approximately one week for delivery.
